تضمنت فعالية “ديمومة” معرضاً فنياً لمختلف الممارسات الفنية المستدامة التي يستخدمها الفنانون المحليون، وبعض التركيبات الخاصة بمجموعة تقارب عن بعد التي تتطلبت مشاركة الجمهور.

في جزئية الأعمال الفنية، تحدى فريق تقارب عن بعد فنانين محليين لإنتاج أعمالاً جديدة وفقاً لممارساتهم الفنية الخاصة ولكن مع اتباع عملية إنتاج صديقة للبيئة أو باستخدام مواد مستدامة. من خلال التحدي، قام كل من الفنانين بتدارك جميع الخطوات المتخذة في الإنتاج، بالإضافة إلى التأثير البيئي للعمل الفني النهائي.

Shifting Grounds included an exhibition that not only showcased various sustainable art practices used by local artists, but also a few site-specific installations by the RC collective that required audience engagement.

For the artists’ section, works by local practitioners were put on display to showcase sustainable materials, and/or follow an eco-conscious production or making process. The idea was to take on the challenge of approaching art-making differently, being aware of all the steps taken, considering the material chosen as well as the environmental impact of the artwork.
