An artistic investigation on how to remain digitally and emotionally connected with loved ones against all odds, despite a small screen, the haphazard glitches of an overworked computer and poor bandwidth quality. These add another layer of distance, forcing the interlocutors to listen actively, drawing them closer, rather than isolating them.

About the artist:
Manar Ali Hassan was born in 1980 in Beirut, Lebanon. She is an emerging multidisciplinary visual artist, and graphic design instructor, with a BA in Art Education from the Lebanese University in 2002 and a BA in graphic Design. In 2019, Manar Ali Hassan earned her Master in Visual Arts with distinction from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) – University of Balamand.
