Grace’s project is a 15 page research paper that shows how the academic world crumbles and eventually coexists with the artistic world. The research paper goes rogue with digital and physical components, such as cigarettes, candle wax, and lipstick stains. The project touches on the insecurity and distractions of creating as well as the effects of social distancing upon the art and the audience. While displayed, the audience is invited to become a part of the art piece and interact with the pages by tearing pieces of it away, emphasizing the theme of only being able to interact while distanced.
