An Anatomical Study is an imaging project that attempts to document our societal health condition. Urban spaces are infested with discarded objects that, like gangrene, continue to infiltrate natural and organic spaces. In the same manner that X-ray images are utilized to evaluate injuries, disorders and diseases, this photographic body studies the anatomy of synthetic objects as they spread out like roots and symbolize society’s systemic removal from its origins.

This project was exhibited as part of the 11th edition of the Image Festival Amman under the theme “Roots”.
